On 9 April 2025, the Briconord Group formalised its acquisition of Scell-it, a French company specialising in metal assembly and fastening. This strategic move marks a new stage in the Group’s development, in line with its external growth strategy initiated in 2015.
Recognised expertise in fastening
Based in Lesquin (Nord), Scell-it has 48 employees and, since 1988, has developed cutting-edge expertise in blind rivets, crimp nuts, metal and chemical fasteners, and installation tools.
Through its three brands — Scell-it, Atlas and Smartool — the company caters to both professionals and DIY superstores.
‘Joining Briconord is a real opportunity for Scell-it. We are joining a group that shares our values, alongside strong brands and committed employees,’ emphasises Franck Debruyne, Chairman of Scell-it.
A strategic reinforcement for the Group
This acquisition enriches the Briconord Group’s brand portfolio, alongside Norail, Starblock, CQFD, Louis Moulin, Nordlinger Pro, Easy Protect, Interges, Cime and Mac Lean. It particularly reinforces the Group’s expertise in the field of screws/fasteners, a strategic sector for meeting the growing expectations of professional and consumer markets.
‘The arrival of Scell-it is a strategic step in our development. It enables us to build a French leader in fasteners and provide an even more comprehensive response to our customers’ needs,’ says Christian Guillou, Chairman of the Briconord Group.
With this new integration, Briconord continues its growth and confirms its desire to combine complementary expertise to build a solid, innovative group that is resolutely focused on the future.
